So, I recently realised that I have written several blogs now, without actually talking in any detail about myself and my family.
I’m Heather, a 26 year old first time mum. I work night shifts at the hospital as a Healthcare assistant which I have been doing for 10 years and I also study (which is crazy I know). I am currently studying towards a bachelor in communications degree, which I’m hoping will help me get the word out to more families who could benefit from our service.
My partner Luke is 28, and the brains behind the Mother Goose club. He is currently an arborist who is sick of working in the rain and wind. He is so knowledgeable, I couldn’t bring my ideas to life without his intellect and motivation.
Charlie is my 9 month old who is growing up far too fast. She is a healthy, happy little girl who loves horses and music. I’m looking forward to seeing how she likes her swimming lessons which are coming up soon.
Billie is my 9 year old step-daughter. This child is an angel! She loves Charlie (which helps) and when she stays with us, is more than happy to entertain Charlie while I have a shower or maybe a nap (don’t worry it’s usually on the couch, while dad’s in the office working.)
